  • Caesarea Maritima, where Pilate lived, Cornelius household, and where Paul was imprisoned.
  • Mount Carmel where Elijah slew the prophets of Baal
  • Tel Megiddo excavated 26 civilizations deep overlooking the Valley of Armageddon (Jezreel Valley). 
  • Mount Precipice near Nazareth where Jesus was rejected by his hometown.

OCTOBER 31, MONDAY           Tel Dan, Banias, Magdala, Tabgha, Primacy of Peter,  Site of the Sermon on the Mount, Capernaum, Sea of Galilee Boat Ride 

  • Tel Dan, where the Dan tribe immigrated. We visit unearthed city gates and fortifications. 
  • Caesarea Philippi where amongst pagan temples Peter confessed Christ as Messiah
  • Banias, one of four sources of the Jordan River. 
  • Capernaum, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee to visit the earliest sites in Jesus’ ministry. 
  • Mount of Beatitudes, the site of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. 
  • Primacy of Peter, a beach where Jesus told Peter to ‘feed my sheep. 
  • An ancient fishing boat from the time of Jesus
  • A time of worship aboard a Galilean boat while cruising the Sea of Galilee.

NOVEMBER 1, TUESDAY           Nazareth, Nazareth Village, Sepphoris, Mary's Well,  Cana, 

  • Nazareth and the recreated Nazareth Village as it was in the days of Jesus.
  • Sepphoris where we see exquisite mosaics, including the “Mona Lisa of the Galilee.” 
  • Mary's Well where Gabriel told Mary she was to be the mother of Jesus.
  • Cana, where we enjoy lunch

NOVEMBER  2, WEDNESDAY       Gideon Springs, Beit She'an, Genesis Land, Quram,  Ein Gedi, Masada

  • Gideon Springs where Gideon chose men to fight the Midianites.
  • Beit She'an, a well-preserved Decapolis city . The Tel above is where Saul and his sons' bodies were hung after their defeat at Gilboa. 
  • Genesis Land to enjoy lunch and hospitality in "Abraham's tent."
  • Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and where John the Baptist may have lived.
  • Ein Gedi where David hid in a cave as Saul searched for him
  • Masada where a Jewish remnant held out against the Roman army in 70 AD

NOVEMBER 3, THURSDAY     Hezekiah Tunnel, City of David, Pool of Siloam, Archeological Park and Southern Steps, Kotel Tunnel

  • Hezekiah Tunnel running from Gihon Springs to the Pool of Siloam.
  • The City of David where Jerusalem began. We see excavated fortresses and passageways from David's conquest of the Jebusite's city as described in the 2nd book of Samuel.
  • Pool of Siloam 
  • Archeological Park and Southern Steps near the southern Temple Mount wall in the old city. 
  • Kotel Tunnel

NOVEMBER  4, FRIDAY                 Yad Vashem, Israeli Museum, Model of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Shepherd's Field, Manger Square, Church of the Nativity,  Hill of Council (ill repute)

  • Yad Vashem, the holocaust museum in Jerusalem
  • Israeli Museum contains the Dead Sea Scrolls
  • Model of Jerusalem as it was in the time of Jesus
  • Bethlehem including the Shepherd's Fields, Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity.
  • Hill of council

  BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER AND OVERNIGHT:  JERUSALEM  

NOVEMBER  5, SATURDAY                   Gethsemane, St  Stephen's Gate, Pool of Bethesda, St Anne, Via Dolorosa,  Garden Tomb,  

  • Mount Olives for an outstanding view of the city and surrounding area.  
  • Today will be very full as we begin in the Garden of Gethsemane, where we see the Church of All Nations and the Palm Sunday route of Jesus into the Old City. We enter Old City through the Lions Gate near the site of Stephen’s martyrdom. 
  • We will stop at the Pool of Bethesda just inside the gate and sing in the acoustical marvel of Saint Anne’s church. Continuing along the traditional Via Dolorosa toward the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. 
  • Our day concludes at the Garden Tomb (Gordon’s Calvary), which allow us to end our journey in reflection and communion.

NOVEMBER  6, 2022  Sunday            Jewish Quarter Mt. Zion Bazzaar, Nehemiah's Wall,  Room of the Last supper, King David Tomb, Farewell Dinner (Israel only people).

  • Jewish Quarter starting at Caiaphas’ house where Jesus faced accusers. 
  • Herodian Mansions and the Burnt House where you see evidence of the destruction that came to Jerusalem by the Romans in 70AD.
  • We next see Nehemiah's wall and the Jerusalem Oriental Bazaar, 
  • The Room of the Last Supper
  • King David's tomb
  • Farewell dinner for those not going to Jordan

NOVEMBER 7, MONDAY    Inn of Good Samaritan, Allenby Bridge, Jesus Baptism Site, Madaba,  Petra

  • Inn of the Good Samaritan. 
  • Allenby Bridge after clearing customs we say goodbye to our Israeli guide, then cross into the friendly and fascinating Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. 
  • Jesus' Baptismal Site where John the Baptist baptized and nearby where Elijah ascended into heaven on a chariot of fire.
  • Madaba to see a large mosaic map of the Holy Land. 
  • Desert drive to Petra and settle in for the night.

  • Petra. Walking about a mile leads us to the end of the narrow canyon, which opens spectacularly to the Treasury, carved out of predominantly red stone. Further down, the valley opens to even more wonders. 
  • After a late lunch we will travel northward to our hotel on the shore of the Dead Sea.

  • We ascend the eastern mountains of the Gilead to the Decapolis city of Jerash (biblical Gerasa). This ancient city — a blend of the Greco-Roman world of the Mediterranean Basin and the ancient traditions of the Arab Orient — is considered one of the largest and most well preserved sites of Roman 
  • Mount Nebo, for a panoramic view from where God showed Moses the Promise Land. 
  • Mount Nebo church to see restored mosaics on the floor. 
  • Dead Sea for an afternoon relaxation before our early morning flight home from Amman

cancellation and refund policy 

The following fees will be assessed for all cancellations; from deposit to 120 days prior to departure $100** per person (see note below); 120 days to 46 days prior to departure $300** per person (see note below) plus all non-refundable expenses incurred by International Christian Journeys/Hadar Travel and Tours and it's marketing representatives on the group's behalf; 45 days or less prior to departure the full cost of the trip is non-refundable.
**NOTE: If you are not vaccinated for COVID-19 and are cancelling because the country or countries you are scheduled to visit will not allow unvaccinated persons to enter,  the $100 or $300 fees mentioned above will be issued in the form of a credit voucher for any of our future domestic or international group tours. All fees we have paid which cannot be recovered from our suppliers will not be refunded unless they are refunded us.

International Christian Journeys/Hadar Travel and Tours is acting as intermediary in selling services and making bookings and reservations for airlines, hotels, land and water transportation, meals, tours, etc. This agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless action or omission on the part of such suppliers that results in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you or group members. International Christian Journeys/Hadar Travel and Tours is further not responsible for acts of God, fire, breakdown in machinery, acts of governments or other authorities, acts of war whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, customs regulations, delays or cancellation or change of itinerary or schedule or for any loss beyond their control. This agency is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient passports, visas or other documents. International Christian Journeys/Hadar Travel and Tours is not liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the client as a result of any of the foregoing clauses.The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour as circumstances may demand it. Baggage is carried at the owner's risk and baggage insurance is recommended. No refunds for tour portions or unused services can be made unless agreed to prior to departure of the tour from North America.Your retention of tickets, reservations or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above and agreement on your part to convey the current price and exchange rates and may be subject to change without notice prior to departure. The price is a special group rate based upon all passengers following the same itinerary. There will be a $200.00 per person charge to any individual who wishes to deviate from the tour plus any difference in the airfare. Note: Special non-refundable airfares will be used and have special restrictions.
